Jealousy and envy can rip apart any family. For the Jacksons, it’s no different. Janet Jackson has clashed with her brother Jermaine over the film Michael. Though allegedly asked to be part of the production process, she ultimately declined.

Now, she is at odds with her sibling. If it has taken a toll on the rest of the family, it’s unapparent. Miss Katherine Jackson loved the film along with other members of the family.

Jermaine has called his sister jealous. There’s a bit of rancor between them that probably goes back decades. In this particular instance, there seems to be a trail of arguments and misunderstandings that have led to this new low.

In the time it took for the preproduction of the film to the finished product, Janet Jackson could have had more input in the actual look and feel of the movie.

Instead, she opted to back out of the project for undisclosed reasons. If she had been able to give her two cents about the film, she should have been able to express those sentiments well before the production began.

It just is a fact. Families fracture into disparate camps and have arguments over money above most things.

Miss Jackson’s gripes with her brother only show her disdain for him and her family. For the past few decades, she has shown herself to be unappreciative of what has happened with the estate of her late brother Michael.

If anything, she has brought animus to the Jackson family because she still is unable to deal with the unexpected death of the King of Pop.

As she looks into the future, will she find it to be pleasant for her to reconnect with her family members, especially Jermaine?

With all the people in the world and the time fleeting, is it on Janet to express her grievances and just settle with everyone?

The truth is that Janet Jackson doesn’t want to lose her hold on Michael’s memory. In a space where the world yearns for more unreleased content from the estate, more movies, books, and musicals, Janet might just have to sit back and let the wave of material crash down around her.

To consider the family drama is to present to the world yet another dysfunctional family. Though supremely talented, all of them have their quirks and personalities. Those attributes relate to clashes among them. Their contributions to the world of music and media have caused disgust among all those involved. Janet Jackson’s inability to deal with Jermaine’s stance only worsens the strain between them.

With time, she might be able to piece together the fabric of her family. As she critiqued virtually every frame of the story, Janet made the screening uncomfortable as she had reservations about the hair, makeup, wardrobe choices, and overall feel of the film.

To take her seriously, you have to see her point of view. She spent so much time with Michael that she may have been more critical because of the intensity of the brother-sister relationship. Once we take the thought of what it means to be a Jackson sibling is to remember that she is still hurt.

By realizing that Janet exploded during and after the screening, it is better to understand her plight. All of the different ways she has brought to bear the circumstances surrounding Michael Jackson’s life, it is clear that she misses him dearly. Her affinity for her deceased brother who may’ve been the most famous person on the planet for stretches of time.

Whatever the case, she has the ability to speak her mind no matter the circumstances.
