About this challenge
Home, a four letter word that is so common yet resonates differently with everyone. What does "home" mean to you? Is it a feeling, a person, a place? The most common answer is a city, a town, a street where you grew up—a place you retreat to at the end of each day. However, home can also be a loved one's embrace, a furry friend at your feet, a cup of warm tea.
For this Challenge, we want you to submit a poem, between 100 and 2,000 words, telling us what home means to you. Whether your home is a physical safe-haven or defined by simple, blissful moments, we want to know what brings you back to your center. Enter the Challenge and share your poetry for a chance to win prizes up to $5,000!

A Transparent Look at Vocal Challenges and Top Stories
Almost three years ago, we shared a resource article that served as a place for people to suggest new challenge prompts. We thought it would be a good idea to refresh that thread, and take the opportunity to answer a few common questions about top stories, how challenges are judged and how submissions are reviewed.

A System That Isn’t Working Challenge Winners
Systems promise order. They organize behavior, distribute opportunity, and suggest that if everyone follows the rules, things will work. The entries in A System That Isn’t Working look closely at what happens when that promise begins to slip.
